2a. Information We Do Not Request

The core Financeria assessment does not require you to provide online-banking login credentials.

Please do not submit Social Security numbers, bank passwords, account credentials, or other information that is not requested for the relevant service.

  • generate indicative business values, acquisition ranges, matching results and deal structures
  • match potential owners and buyers
  • operate private business opportunities
  • process introduction requests
  • review financing needs when requested
  • connect users with transaction or financing partners when requested
  • operate, secure and improve Financeria
  • communicate about accounts, opportunities, introductions and transactions
  • detect misuse and security incidents
  • comply with law and protect legal rights

4. Automated Assessments and Matching

Financeria may use rules, models or automated systems to generate:

  • indicative business values
  • buyer-fit assessments
  • financeability assessments
  • acquisition ranges
  • match scores
  • illustrative deal structures

4a. Nature of These Outputs

These outputs are informational and indicative.

They are not formal valuations, credit decisions, financing commitments, investment recommendations or guarantees that a transaction will close.

Material transaction steps may also involve human review.

5. Private Matching and Disclosure

Financeria is not designed as a public directory of business identities.

An opportunity may initially be shown using anonymized or generalized information such as industry, region, revenue range, EBITDA range and company size.

Company name, website, precise address, owner identity and other identifying information are disclosed only according to the applicable privacy and approval process.

Owners generally control whether a confidential introduction is approved.

6. How We Disclose Information

We may disclose information to:

  • hosting, database and IT providers
  • email and communication providers
  • analytics and security providers
  • professional advisers
  • potential buyers or owners following the applicable approval process
  • financing, legal, tax, diligence and other transaction partners when you request an introduction or service
  • government authorities or other parties when legally required
  • a successor in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, restructuring or sale of all or part of our business, subject to applicable law

7. Transaction and Financing Partners

If you ask Financeria to connect you with a financing or transaction partner, we may provide the information reasonably necessary to facilitate that request.

Financeria may receive compensation from certain partners in connection with an introduction or completed transaction where permitted by law.

Where required, relevant compensation or relationships will be disclosed in connection with the service.

8. Sale and Sharing of Personal Information

Financeria does not sell personal information for unrelated advertising purposes.

When you expressly request an introduction to a buyer, seller, financing provider or transaction partner, we may disclose information to facilitate that requested service.

If an applicable U.S. privacy law treats a compensated partner disclosure as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, we will provide the notices and opt-out mechanisms required by that law.

We do not currently use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

9. International Processing

Financeria and its service providers may process information in more than one country.

Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, we will use appropriate legal mechanisms.

10. Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy. Factors include:

  • the duration of your account or request
  • the status of a potential match or transaction
  • legal and regulatory retention requirements
  • security and fraud-prevention needs
  • the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims

Information that is no longer required will be deleted or de-identified where reasonably practicable and legally appropriate.

If we introduce non-essential analytics or advertising technologies, we will provide notices and choices required under applicable law.

No online service or storage system can guarantee absolute security.

Depending on your state of residence and whether the relevant law applies to Financeria, you may have rights to:

  • correct inaccurate information

Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by applicable law and subject to appropriate verification.

14. California Notice

If the California Consumer Privacy Act applies to Financeria and your information, California residents may have rights including access, correction, deletion, opt-out of certain sale or sharing, limitation of certain uses of sensitive personal information, and non-discrimination.

  • professional or employment-related information
  • commercial and transaction-intent information
  • financial-profile information provided for acquisition matching
  • internet and device information
  • communications
  • inferences and matching results generated from supplied information

14a. Sources, Purposes and Requests

Sources include you, users involved in a requested transaction, publicly available business sources where used, and service providers.

We use and disclose these categories for the purposes described in this Policy.

Privacy requests may be submitted through privacy@financeria.com.

If Financeria becomes legally required to provide a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” mechanism or to honor applicable universal opt-out preference signals, we will do so.

15. Children

Financeria is intended for adult business owners, buyers and professional market participants.

It is not directed to children under 18.

16. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy as our product, infrastructure or legal obligations change.

The current version will be posted on Financeria with the effective date shown above. For material changes, we may provide additional notice.
